Position Title: Contract Accountant
Department: Finance
Location: Tian Jin Downtown
Reporting to: Contract Accounting Manager

Position Specification:

This position will be responsible to work with OECC Contract Accounting Manager to ensure financial contract accounting report and transaction accuracy and timely as well as US/China GAAP compliance. The incumbent will review the contract effectiveness, proper revenue recognition; contract accounting related transaction and reporting review and accrual and analysis etc. He/she will work with business team on the contract, and job execution process review, status analysis for the margin/Loss provision. He/she will provide guidance and financial advice towards contract control activities for zone and branch operations across OCL entities.

Basic Accountabilities:

To ensure timely and quality assured financial report and accounting transactions on contract accounting.
To provide update financial analysis for contract revenue recognition, margin/Loss provision etc review, analysis etc to define the financial risk timely.
Monitoring contract accounting processes to ensure proper internal controls are in placed under dynamic business environment as well as US/China GAAP compliance.
To prepare and communicate corresponding instructions of revenue and margin analysis with Business units and FP&A across China
Work with OECC Contract Accounting Manager on the team working process efficiency and financial quality improvement




Principle Working Relations:

Business/ Contract Logistic Center/ Factory / Branches / Accounting Center / FP&A / Credit / Treasury / Contract Review / IT & Operational Audit



Qualification Requirement:
· Education: University Degree or above with accounting disciplines major
· Experience: At least 4 years of working experience in MNC with diversified cross functional experience
· Language: Proficiency in both English and Chinese
· Computer Skills: Be familiar with MS-Office, Hyperion and ERP system tools application

Key Measurements:

Timely and accurate contract accounting financial reporting, including contract status, revenue, margin/loss provision etc
Work with OECC accounting manager for the compliance with local statutory, taxation and financial standards and requirements and ethical standard to be implemented
Achieve defined goals, executing with professionalism, integrity, competency and diligence.
