Job Location: Beijing,Tianjin
Responsibilities:
Sourcing new suppliers in china to meet quality, cost, delivery time, inventory controlling and other objectives from JOY, to reach the goal of supplies' localization, suppliers' integrating and consolidation, cost saving, shortening delivery time etc.
Identify and qualify new suppliers to ensure that the potential suppliers have the qualification and capacity to cooperate with JOY in the future
Assess existing and potential supplier capabilities and make recommendations on supplier acceptability (for existing suppliers at least twice one year) to ensure our suppliers supply the goods with JOY according to JOY 's demands all the time
Support bidding process with global supplies base-supplier communication, identification, qualification, screening and total cost analysis
Train the new suppliers about JOY ' policy, ie, purchasing process, quality inspection standards, transferring delivery notes, payment term etc.
Implement the company's sourcing standards including process and execution in order to purchase satisfying goods, and meet the demand of JOY's customers
Drive productivity opportunities with supply base to achieve continuous savings for JOY
Manage the sourcing project from start to finish, deliver the required quality, OTD, cost savings, and meet the project deadlines
Requirements:
Bachelor of Business or Engineering, Mechanical related
3+ year working experience in strategic sourcing projects and commodity management
Strong analytical skills and data driven analysis to sourcing strategy development
Good knowledge of MS office, Access database, graphics and spreadsheet software applications and presentation skills
Must be able to work independently and with teams, be able to do multi-task in a dynamic environment
Hardworking, self-motivated, and result-oriented
Ability to tackle challenging projects which require a combination of business, organization and technical issues in order to provide maximum value to supply needs
Willing to travel to suppliers sites to drive sourcing activities and willing to participate weekly nightly conference calls with JOY internal customers
Fluent communication in English and Mandarin
