Role
To manage application project scope, plan and deliverables, collect / analyze business requirement from client and transfer it to development team. Act as a first point of contact between customer and development team for project deliverables.
Key Responsibility
· Build and strengthen long-term relationship with the customer.
· Proactively collect business requirements from customer and their partners, analyze the requirement and provide sound solutions to customer via closely working with project team, ensure long term solution.
· Document business requirement.
· Explain the business requirement to development team in a clearly and concise way.
· Develop project plan, scope, timeline, and deliverables in collaboration with the development team/steering committee.
· Responsible for the project deliverables in accordance to the approved project objectives.
· Regularly communicate project status to customer and partner.
· Risk management.Act as first point of contact to customer and their partners for requirement, project deliverables and daily communication

Main competence requirements
· Totally more than 6 years of experience in IT application development area in MNC.
· More than 2 years as a Project Manager for medium to large size projects.
· Communication skills
o Be proficient in written and verbal English and Mandarin. It's one of the top-most requirement to the position holder.
o Be proficient to communicate effectively with the customer and their partners
o Be able to document software requirements in Mandarin and translate them to English
o Be able to explain the requirements to software development team (located in India) over phone in English
o Professional business writing skills in Mandarin and English.
· Functional domain skills
o Exposure of consumer goods marketing domain is expected, however it doesn't have to be very deep
o Soloid experience in documenting functional and user interface requirements.
· Technical skills
o Good exposure to software development process
o Experience in software coding and testing (Java, .NET, php) is preferred.
o Be able to prepare project plans
o Be able to report progress of a project against the plan
o Be able to discuss project scope and plan with customer
o Be able to handle any issues, change requests, etc. from the customer as the first point-of-contact
· Proved project management skills, be able to manage medium size project.
· Excellent communications & negotiation skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams and varying levels of management.
· Good thinking and problem solving skill, the ability to deal with ambiguity.
· Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, initiative-taking/ownership and be result driven.
· Ability to work effectively in a flexible, changing and challenging environment, manage multiple activities and priorities and work well under pressure.
