Role
To lead IT development or maintenance team which may cross organizational boundaries to deliver IT application product / service to Volvo group worldwide.
Key Responsibility
· Responsible for a professional relationship with assignment stakeholders
· Responsible for developing the assignment charter and ensuring that it is communicated to all assignment stakeholders
· Responsible for planning, organising, reporting and following up the assignment in accordance to the approved assignment charter
· Responsible for carrying out the assignment work according to agreed cost and time
· Responsible for ensuring that the solution produced is achieving the agreed quality
· Responsible for reporting the results, deviations and plan in the assignment work to the customer and within the line organisation
· Analyse business requirements and provide sound system solutions.
· Design system framework.
· Establish coding rules.
· System coding and unit testing.
· Develop system documentation
· Develop the assignment plan, scope, timeline, and deliverables.
· Responsible for the assignment daily activity management and coordination, escalate issues to proper levels in right time.
· Responsible for team management and coach.
· Responsible for Knowledge management
Main competence requirement
·More than 5 years of experience in IT application area in MNC.
·More than 4 years of experience in IT application development, or maintenance, and more than 2 years as a project manager for medium size projects or more than two years as service manager for IT application.
·Good experiences in MS SQL server and deep understanding on web based development, such as .Net, ASP.Net, C#, JavaScript and development tools such as Visio Studio.
·Experience in WCF/Web services.
·Excellent communications & negotiation skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams and varying levels of management.
·Good thinking and problem solving skill, the ability to deal with ambiguity.
·Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, strong initiative-taking/ownership, be result driven.
·Ability to work effectively in a flexible, changing and challenging environment, manage multiple activities and priorities and work well under pressure.
·Good business acumen and solid business knowledge in supply chain, working experiences in auto industry is a plus.
·Good business writing skills and strong presentation skills
·Good process development and implementation skills.
·Excellent oral and written English skills
·Experiences of Agile/Scrum is a plus.
·Bachelor degree.PMP certificate is a plus.
