Purpose of the Job:
Manage the in-charged suppliers and leading on the overall projects (development of system products) in a define timing.

Measurement or KPIS :
Homologation of new components => Lead time
SPQD commission procedure and performance => FAI on time rate , NCR&NCE, Time to close, SQS and risk management, DFQ cycles milestones involvement, SQP deliverables, OIL for SPQD plan, Yellow status suppliers management, qualification status, supplier revenue service issues and release inspection

Responsibilities:
1 – SPQD plans development from tender phase till FAI GO (AA0)

· Be responsible at tender phase to communicate and validate quality specifications and SPQD plan in anticipation with suppliers

· To manage the SQS phase till the Business Award in coordination with sourcing, validate the relevant waivers

· To perform SPQD plan by setting-up relevant actions plan all along the product / process development to reach Supplier FAI go on time

· To monitor Project supplier quality deliverables though the Supplier Quality Portal (SQP) interface

· To apply the application of the DFQ process and validates each milestones, , and perform Go Prod and FAI at supplier premise.

· Be responsible to perform the handover with SQA

· To manage the supplier alone, clear know the supplier’s weakness and influence supplier to improve

· Can cover the different commodities including complex in high level with different suppliers, and manage all the SPQD plan well

· To go deeply in the process validation and challenge the supplier for improvement to secure the product quality
2 – Skip release inspection & NCE Management

· To performance the skip release inspection and integrate NCE detected by Site. Aim is NO issue detected after skip release

· To support site to challenge the supplier corrective action plans during project phase for NCR/NCE for site and OIL during the skip inspection. To follow up till all of them close.

· Well apply AIC release inspection rule and adjust the inspection according to the NCE input under the balance of risk and workload. Lower supplier NCE and keeping stable after first three bathes and other physical inspection.
3 - Management revenue service issues

· To attend supplier problem kick-off meeting, and check team members in SQP/PST and check target date

· To challenge supplier 8D's: Check that containment actions are in place, participate to root cause validation, and ensure that corrective actions are deployed

· Can lead problem analysis and solving, and define action plan with AT sites and suppliers.

· To follow up supplier action plan with target dates, and review supplier performance (OIL, KPI)

· To exchange information with ALSTOM manufacturing/project site in time

· To support sourcing with evidences in case of claim process
4 – Management, performances and reporting

· To inform SPQD manager, Sourcing, Industrial and engineering / projects entities about the main issues and increment ROE

· To reports about his activity, manages his indicators (example: visual management, SQP) in / on time

· To lead the management of yellow and red suppliers, and closely follow defined action and regally report to each entities.

· To ensure his/her required qualifications to have the right level of expertise, and SPQD/FAI at least level 4.

· To take other proper tasks assigned by company or line manager

· All reporting on time with high quality, for weekly report and SPQD HUB report

· Very good communication, logical way of thinking and report clearly and short.

· Well-known WOW and very less support from leaders. Can make proper and right decisions by himself/herself independently

· Can face and overcome crisis with his/her pioneer and cooperation with other functions.
5 – Contribute to continuous improvement program

· To propose good practices

· To contribute for APSYS roadmap’s SPQD related questions.

· To maintain the SQP tool for SPQD job well and support supplier application of SQP as well.

· To perform the supplier general / special process audit and follow up the OIL when needed.

· Self-development and qualification according the central qualification target.

· Can provide training to suppliers for quality skills and management, and monitor the result and implementation by suppliers.

· Knowing supplier weakness, and can support to make long term improvement plan, and keep monitoring.
6- SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

· To secure that Alstom’s policies in terms of social responsibility (Environmental, health and safety, Child labour, ethics,…) are enforced at all suppliers’ sites

· To secure that all Alstom employees operating on supplier’s site do so in a hazard free environment.

· To respect the Alstom rules (Example: Alstom employee handbook& Ethic requirements)

Educational Requirements:
Product or manufacturing engineering and/or Quality Engineer with 5 years’ experience minimum.

Technical Knowledge / Experience :
Mechanical & electrical engineering knowledge is a must
Work experience in HVAC, door, or other system products in automotive, rolling stock and other similar industrial field is required
Good experience on processes: painting, crimping/wiring, gluing and welding
Quality tools experienced (FMEA, Design of Experiments, Control Plan, PDCA, 8D…)
Practical knowledge on Quality, Product and industrial Process within its Commodity / Domain
Understanding of technical interdependencies
