Key Responsibility:
In close co-operation with the other members of the Damco ASI IT, your job will be to setup, support and maintain assigned Damco applications. Carry out various activities such as overseeing the support, maintenance and enhancement planning of assigned Damco applications
Your major area of responsibilities will be as follows -
? Manage and Plan the life cycle of the Applications with product development teams and application owners. Ensure that when the Product delivers to Operations, it is done at an agreed and acceptable level of quality otherwise refuse to accept gracefully with thought through reasons.
? Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business owners, product implementation teams and internal regions (Americas, Asia, Europe, IMEA, and Center)
? Performance Management: Define, Track, Monitor, and Act-on various performance metrics on your applications. Visualize and Present ongoing trends to business stakeholders.
? Vendor Management:
o Work closely with the vendors to ensure proper delivery of planned optimizations within delivery dates and with the agreed levels of quality.
o Monitor vendors for SLA adherence. Optimize the sourcing set-up with key focus on enhancing quality and reducing costs.
o Vendor contract management to ensure application vendors’ resource and SLA
? Manage and work in alignment with the existing processes based on ITIL such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Release Management, etc. Ensure IT Operation management process implementation into team and process optimization within team to improve the support efficiency and service level.
? Accountable for the continual service improvements (CSI) of the application portfolio.
? Manage application costs and budgets giving full cost transparency of the application and taking responsibility for the total cost of ownership.
? Work closely with the Application Support Teams providing support to end users to use the system effectively as well as efficiently
? Act as incident coordinator for supported Damco applications during major incidents. Own the end-to-end support role within ticket lifecycle and coordinate with Solution Team, Development Team, Application Owner, MGIS, CEN originations, vendors for 3rd level support when resolution needs their respective expertise involvement.
? Own Problem Management for problem investigation plan, workaround definition, root cause conclusion and own other technical solution needs to optimize the support process or solution stability before new permanent solution delivered.
? Manage release pipeline, report progress and documentation of release notes
? Proactively document and package tasks into processes/services to be incorporated in scope of application support teams. Own Configuration Management that critical element to be reflected into CMDB, platform construction or configuration SOP to be delivered, also own deployment management as part Change Management to ensure each deployment task to be properly planned and executed by the team.
? Own the end-to-end support role within ticket lifecycle and coordinate with Solution Team, Development Team, Product Owner, MGIS, CEN originations, vendors for 3rd level support when resolution needs their respective expertise involvement.
? Project implementation support planning including resource, service level, scope agreement by coordinating with project managers.
? Resource Management and ensure Project Hyper-care support resource and Project Implementation support resource available for related Project team.
Competencies and Qualifications:
You have:
? Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT Application management/project/support area, technical knowledge of MS SQL database, technical solution design and good knowledge of .Net, JAVA etc and be able to present complex technical problem in understandable way.
? Minimum 3 years’ experience in logistics or warehouse industry and be familiar with origin operational process and preferably also destination, or WMS operation process.
? Minimum 3 years’ experience in HighJump software implementation/support; experience in Exceed or other WMS software will be an advantage.
? IT service management and support experience
? Project management experience
? IT consultancy and training service experience
? Self-motivator that can work without regular instructions
? Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet the deadlines
? Team player and ability to ensure delivery by engaging team members
? Analytical mind and methodical work ethic
? Customer service oriented
? Independent, taking full ownership of tasks
? Innovative, always seeking out new ways to improve
? Excellent communicator internal to all levels; Proven experience in influencing stakeholders (preferably mid to senior level management) across departments/organisations
? Excellent in both English and mandarin
? Passion for service delivery to all internal stakeholders; Good communication, coordination and negotiation skills as there are several stakeholders that need to be engaged
? Ability to handle irate customers and can interact at any level of management
