The role of the Senior IT Auditor is to:
Provide assurance that the controls across JM’s IT estate are operating effectively
Develop and implement data analytics tool or Computer Assisted Audit Technique (CAAT) to optimise our existing auditing approach and execution
ExecuteIT assurance activities across JM in order to identify any gaps, minimise duplication and promote best practice
Provide independent assurance that the right ITcontrols and governance are in place to mitigate identified risks
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES：
Assist Corporate Assurance Senior Manager, Asia to enhance the capability of the Corporate Assurance & Risk (CAR) team through the development and maintenance of a data analytics strategy
Establish and maintain close working relationships with the relevant IT stakeholders in relation to IT Controls
Delivering high quality and risk based IT audit reviews of business processes, business change, and the management of financial, operational and compliance risks within the IT space
Development of an integrated audit approach and educate the broader team on using IT to support delivery of a more efficient and effective Operational Audit through auditing automated and general IT controls, as well as ensuring the use of data analytics
Assist Corporate Assurance Senior Manager, Asia to raise awareness of IT auditing across CAR to understand the benefit of utilising IT audit techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operational audit. Regular training sessions should be delivered to ensure ALL operational audit resources have a basic understanding of IT audit techniques and their benefits
Seeks to continually drive improvement by enhancing the audit methodology, and identifying more efficient and effective ways of working
