Position Focus:
- Lead regional commodity purchasing team to drive supplier sourcing strategy , total landed cost optimization , operational performance and support regional business growth plan.
Management Scope:
- Direct reports 4-5 person ( managers , supervisors ) and up to 10 if candidates also fit with advance/program purchasing leader roles, direct reports mainly located in Shanghai HQ, and some located in Asean.
- Annual spending around $ 300-400 M covers 2-4 plants cross Asia pacific region
Job Description:
- Develop regional commodity purchasing team ‘skill set and lead team reach objective
- Meet / Exceed total landed cost target includes annual Price negotiations , localization and VAVE etc. KPI
- Lead & champion on supplier overall performance and risk management for internal stakeholder , includes cost, quality , delivery and service
- Implement global /regional commodity sourcing strategy and align with internal stakeholders.
Qualification:
- 15 years working experience above and minimum 10 years in sourcing , supply chain related areas
- Strong Leadership and communication skill in a global organization, .Minimum 5 years management roles, global sourcing leader experience is good plus
- Strong sourcing knowledge’s and experience on electrical and electronics components commodities include ( Terminal & connectors , insulated wires, electronics components, print circuit boards and tooled components ) , a mixed background /roles within purchasing organizations ( Advance& Program and commodity purchasing ) is preferred
- Excellent communication with internal stakeholder ( Engineering, Quality, operation ) and within global purchasing organizations. -Fluent language skills : English and Mandarin is mandatory
-Automotive industry experience is strongly required
