Here's the JD:

Responsibilities
* Develop and manage inventory system and processes
o Monitor end-to-end movement of component and finished goods inventory across entire supply chain and distribution
o Work alongside suppliers and manufacturing partners to track and record daily inbound and outbound deliveries; and to monitor and reconcile inventory in order to ensure no supply chain delay
o Support demand planning and procurement teams to accurately forecast and anticipate future inventory needs and shortages, using software tools to improve accuracy and efficiency where possible
o Ensure that product stock is adequate for all distribution channels without excessive surplus
o Manage activities associated with defective and/or inaccurate materials supply including RMA process oversight
o Oversee end-of-life and excess & obsolete inventory and work with suppliers and Finance team to come up with appropriate risk mitigation strategies
o Coordination with customs and logistics service providers as needed to help parts and products reach their destination
o Lead monthly inventory closing and follow up to close off any identified problems
o Establish set of KPIs and continuously improve our inventory management processes (i.e. lead-time(s), inventory turnover, scrap rates, E&O liability, etc.)
o Work with suppliers and team to create appropriate reports highlighting inventory levels delivered, on hand, consumed, scrapped, etc.
o Own and update our ERP (NetSuite) inventory records with appropriate information (GRNs, inventory kitting, logistics (in transit/delivered goods), etc.)
o Manage periodic inventory audits at different warehousing / vendor locations
* Inventory system planning and communication
o Understand product technical requirements, group milestones and interdependencies to establish and own accurate and effective inventory system
o Act as principle point of contact within SC and Operations teams regarding inventory status
o Devise ways to optimize inventory control and improve inventory process to reduce overall company costs
o Integrate system requirements between DLUS and DLCN
o Create inventory budgets and targets, and monitor inventory levels against them to control and drive down costs
o Monitor and ensure compliance of inventory procedures
o Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships
o Motivate and influence internal and external employees to stay on-task and achieve often challenging goals

Requirements
* BSc or MSc level Engineering/Operations/Logistics background
* CPIM holder is a plus
* 5-10 years experience of manufacturing related inventory management
* International Consumer Electronic industry experience highly desirable
* Working knowledge of ERP applications (NetSuite experience is a plus)
* Candidate must have a high bandwidth to understand and manage complexity within a complex and international supply chain
* Additional experience and knowledge of Audio products advantageous
* Communication in English and Chinese, both written and spoken, is required at a high standard.
* Possess international and cross-cultural teamwork communication skills and experience
* Organized, detail oriented and time focused
* Efficient at identifying and analyzing problems, with ability to create reports and forecasts that assist with creation and driving of solutions.
