JOB PURPOSE:
The KAM Process Owner is responsible for Account Management process development in close collaboration with Sales Territory Teams and particularly with Territory Account Teams. As a mining expert KAM Process Owner will also be responsible to provide strong support to Territory Account Teams in mining applications as defined more detailed below as ' Main responsibilities'.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and support KAM process development in Territory
Coordinate and support Account business planning and implementation process with selected Key Accounts
Coordinate and support opportunity analysis with new / potential KAM projects
Support KAMs & Account Teams to develop new 'Key Account specific' opportunities with planned actions like:
Project-& application studies for new projects
Preparations and participation in Customer Seminars
Preparations and participation in reference mine visits ( outside China and in China )
Support Account Teams & individual team members with systematic competence development including:
Mining applications knowledge and understanding customers' mining process and business drivers
Effective use of KAM process within Territory
Value selling through real action learning cases
Coordinate and support our Mine Database update process (particularly with existing / new / potential KAMs' mines)
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
Strong safety leadership culture.
Awareness and knowledge of Sandvik's vision, structure, operating principles, core values, and code of conduct; ability to apply this understanding appropriately to different situations.
Understanding the value of teamwork; ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Knowledge of the organisation.
Demonstrates Mining Business and Industry Knowledge - explains relevant business cycles and systems impact.
Focuses on those activities that have the greatest impact on meeting customer commitments.
Demonstrates strong expertise in Customer applications.
Takes personal responsibility for the success of the Account Management Process development in the Sales Area.
Demonstrates business acumen by analyzing new business opportunities with selected Key Accounts and with potential new Key Accounts.
Strong customer service focus.
"Hands on" approach to the competence development for Account Teams in Territories.
Highly developed interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate with customers at a senior level.
The ability to build effective relationships within the industry and within Sandvik.
Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.
Visible, approachable and passion for the business development according to defined KPIs.
