职位描述
Job Responsibilities:
· Develop high quality, cost leading car frame and structural components.
· Implement / define standard interfaces with cab, safety, roller guide, doors, door operator etc. to accept local aesthetical components (panels, lights, handrails, ceilings etc).
· Deliver engineering design (models, drawings, and other engineering data) in a flexible and reusable model product framework.
· Create engineering deliverables as defined in Otis Product Development Process (PDP).
· Work with integrated product development team to define mechanical system requirements.
· Conduct product benchmarking and Market Feedback Analysis.
· Develop new mechanical designs and perform trade-off studies.
· Perform FEA and other engineering analyses and calculations.
· Develop and apply modeling, analysis, simulation and computation (MASC) to ensure structural design characteristics are favorable for premium ride quality.
· Conduct product design quality and development technical reviews.
· Support qualification tests.
· Track progress, resource utilization, earned value, and latest estimates for delivery.
· Provide engineering support to contract engineering for high-rise car frames.
Basic Qualifications, Work Experience & Skills Requirements:
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills are essential.
· CAD skills are required. ProEngineer experience preferred.
· Excellent ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with remote team members, including in American & European zones, is essential.
· Experience with structural analysis
· Experience in modal analysis, noise and vibration measurement is valued.
· Creative, open minded, critical thinker, hard working and energetic with good teamwork ethic
Educational Requirements:
· BS or MS Mechanical Engineering
· Fluent in English writing and communication; CET-6 or equivalent
