Core Responsibilities:
? Responsible for growing Tektronix’s business in the Power Electronics market segment.
? Conduct in-depth market research and design growth strategies.
? Generates new ideas and solutions by making connections between diverse types of customers, markets and processes.
? Actively participates in cross-functional brainstorming sessions.
? Build pipelines and achieve growth quota.
? Influence and position new ideas, initiatives and innovations to customers and coworkers.
? Establish relationships and arrange on-site visits with high profile prospects within the market segment.
? Frequently visit the Keithley HQ along with the Tektronix HQ to create deep relationships for co-selling opportunities.
? Act in a consultative manner with sales, assisting clients in product selection, system configuration, and other areas in product development.
? Resolve issues and achieve goals by working closely with related team members as well as all internal departments.
Job Qualifications:
The successful candidate will possess the following combination of education and experience:
? BS degree (or equivalent) is required. An MBA or Engineering degree is a plus.
? Minimum of 10+ years of sales or business development experience in the electronics industry with a focus on Power Electronics related products.
? Must be able to demonstrate a significant number of contacts and in-depth knowledge of the Power Electronics market segment.
? Strong ability to understand the real customer pain points and articulate clear solutions for these customers.
? Experience building strong relationships with key stakeholders and product development teams across the globe.
? Must have an internal drive to exceed sales goals, influence customer behaviors, invent new sales strategies, and share best practices and ideas with coworkers.
? Experience working with and successfully co-selling with partners is preferred.
? Motivated by the challenge of aggressive goals; comfortable with ambiguity; demonstrates personal integrity.
? Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation skills.
