Here's the JD:

Responsibilities
Coordinate and attend customer trials to identify key performance measures necessary for successful performance of products. Identify and communicate product performance requirements relative to customer needs as input to product development efforts.
Assist with the planning and execution of product development trials. Lead projects that involve minor product changes.
Assist with the transfer of products from one manufacturing location to another, including the transfer of development materials from the pilot lines. Lead customer interaction post product qualification.
Assist with Operations, Sales and R&D with timely resolution of quality issues. Troubleshoot customer-operating procedures, relative to film performance, thereby preventing or minimizing film use issues.
Lead the qualification of alternate raw materials. Define raw material specifications, product specifications and x-numbers related to alternate raw materials.
Assist development, quality and operations in the establishment and maintenance of customer specifications.
Works with Operations and Quality to review current commercial product specifications periodically to tighten internal control limits and continuously improve Cpk
Tools used including: Computer with MS Office, Lotus Notes, and statistical software; Analysis tools (hardness gauge, micrometer, etc.); Teflon tapes and pressure-sensitive papers.

Requirements
B.S. Degree in Technical area and 4-8 years technical service experience
Experience with Engineering principles, Film extrusion, Design of experiments.
Experience in target markets, Sales experience
Six sigma training
