Position Focus:
The successful candidate will be involved across the organization in a variety of areas – looking to make an impact by implementing strong financial planning and analysis. The candidate will be “hands on”; Key tools used: Hyperion and Excel.
Job Description:
? Assist in timely and accurate preparation and consolidation of monthly closing, quarterly financial forecasts, annually financial budget and LRP.
? Interact with plant FAs, operations and function heads to ensure forecasts are appropriate and targets met accordingly
? Perform standard analyses on volume, revenue, OI, free cash flow, capital spending, etc. to provide information on early business indicators and to support decision making
? Perform variance analysis and drive forecast accuracy
? Establish and maintain key operational reporting
? Analyze financial data to ensure proper accounting procedures have been followed
? Assist in the on-going development of the company’s financial systems to ensure that data integrity and accuracy are maintained
? Capable of independently manage multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment with a high level of precision
? Assist with and manage various ad hoc projects as needs.
Qualification:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting, ACCA or CPA will be asset.
2. Advanced Excel skills and Hyperion system knowledge preferred
3. 5+ years combined experience in the fields of Accounting, Financial analysis and/or Auditing in a manufacturing industry
4. Excellent communication skills, ability to work under high pressure
5. Positive attitude and team spirit
6. Able to work independently, multi-task and meet deadlines
7. Strong oral and written English communication skills.
