Job Title
Sr. Supplier Product Quality Development (SPQD) Engineer–Metallic (Casting)

Purpose of the Job
Manage the in charged suppliers and leading on the overall projects (development of metallic part) in a define timing.

Responsibilities (in his commodity)
1 – SPQD plans develoment from tender phase till FAI GO (AA0)
 - is reponisble at tender phase to communicate and validate quality specifications and SPQD plan in anticipation with suppliers
 - manages the SQS phase till the Business Award in coordination with sourcing, validate the relevant waivers
- performs SPQD plan by setting-up relevant actions plan all along the product / process development to reach Supplier FAI go on time
 - applies the application of the DFQ process and validates each milestones
 - is responsible to perform the handover with SQA
- cover the different commodities with different suppliers and manage all the SPQD plan well
- go deeply in the process validation and challenge the supplier for improvement to secure the product quality
2 – Skip release inspection & NCE Management
- Performance the skip release inspection and integrated NCE detected by Site . Aim is NO issue detected after skip release
- To support site to cchallenge the supplier corrective action plans during project phase for NCR, NCE for site and OIL during the skip inspection. Follow up till all them till close.
- well apply the rule and adjust the inspection according to the NCE input and very less NCE after first three bathes.
3 – Management, performances and reporting
 - informs SPQD manager, Sourcing and Industrial and engineering / projects entities about the main issues, increment ROE
 - reports about his activity, manages his indicators (exemple visual management) in time and on time
 - participates in the management of yellow suppliers status
 - ensures his required qualifications to have the right level of expertise
- Take other proper tasks assigned by company or line manager
- very good communication, logical way of thinking and report clearly and short.
4 – Contribute to continuous improvement program
- proposes good practices
- contributes for APSYS roadmap’s SPQD related questions.
-Maintain the SQP tool for SPQD job well and support supplier application of SQP as well.
- Perform the supplier process audit and follow up the OIL when needed.
- Self development and qualification according the central qualification target.
- take each time supplier visit to push supplier improvement and receive a good result
5- SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
- Secure that Alstom’s policies in terms of social responsibility (Environmental, health and safety, Child labour, ethics,…) are enforced at all suppliers’ sites
- Secure that all Alstom employees operating on supplier’s site do so in a hazard free environment.

Measurement or KPIS
Homologation of new components => Lead time
Supplier panel => FAI on time rate , NCR&NCE, Time to close, SQS and risk management, DFQ cycles milestones involvement, OIL for SPQD plan, Yellow status suppliers management

Educational Requirements
· Product or manufacturing engineering and/or Quality Engineer with 5 years experience minimum.

Technical Knowledge / Experience
. Casting skill is required
· Quality tools experienced (FMEA, Design of Experiments, Control Plan, PDCA, 8D…)
· Prefered Manufacturing site experience. Practical knowledge on Quality, Product and industrial Process within its Commodity / Domain
· Process: Casting, welding, machining
