Strategy
· Be an active and passionate member of the delivery team of crucial & pivotal support to local HR-TA platforms by providing detailed candidate maps, long-lists and business intelligence otherwise provided by external recruitment firms.

Business
· The Research specialist is responsible for executing talent identification sourcing strategies related to pipeline activities across multiple functions. This individual works in partnership with the Talent Acquisition Team / Hiring Managers to identify critical talent gaps related to specific geographic areas, functions and job grades
· Expected to leverage current and relevant social media and job board channels to identify the best possible executive talent.
· Support a pilot team to perform research and sourcing activities of Executive talent
· Responsible to handle around 50 requistions a month; deliver a line up of around 500 candidate on a monthly basis
Processes
· The Senior Research Specialist will conduct market research, develop competitive intelligence and aid in delivering insights and recommendations to the business
· The Research Specialist will proactively identify and recruit active and passive talent into the Group. He/She will identify, evaluate, and manage proactive sourcing plans, position specific sourcing strategies and initiatives.
· Providing market intelligence and insight into hiring trends and salary and bonus information from competitor banks and financial institutions, this might be obtained from information in external new sources such as press releases and also with valuable internal tools available such as Bloomberg.
· The Research Specialist will work on Market Mapping and Screening/Profiling of candidates, Head Hunting, Name Gathering and Team Mapping and Data mining through deep interenet research and from various networking sites to build a robust pipeline of prospective candidates.
· Experience in social media hiring techniques is a must. Working knowledge of sites like LinkedIn, Businessweek, Insideview, Jigsaw, Xing, Manta, Hoovers, Zoominfo is preferred.
· Exposure to job boards like JobsDB, Jobstreet, Upwardly Global, Reed is preferred.
· The Senior Research specialist will be required to work across various business units and regions. ( Africa and Middle East, Europe, America, ASEAN and South Asia)
· Optimise processes removing redundancies
· Perform Root Cause analysis of the errors and implement corrective measures
· Support in Reporting, Governance and Compliance activities
· Strong analytical skills
· Strong communication skills

· Display proactive behaviour that is aligned towards utmost customer delight, resolution.

· Comply with the culture of escalation where required through scheduled information / report to key business and HR stakeholders
· Mentor and guide the team through the experience and knowledge gained in the process.
· Help the team navigate through difficult decisions.
· Add value to or contribute to the knowledge repository by documenting the knowledge gained through work

Requirements:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Minimum of 5 years of relevant sourcing/research experience。
· Head-hunter background preferred
