HCL Technologies is seeking an Advanced to Expert level ClearCase/ClearQuest consulting resource, to work closely with IBM China customers, providing expertise to the customer’s DevOps teams (architecture, development, test, requirements management, etc.). The resource will assist these customers with creating and managing the artifacts (Models, documents, web detail, source code, etc.). This person will define and refine the ClearCase-ClearQuest architecture, build/release and defect/issue tracking processes, and details regarding end-user environments and continuous build logic.
The consulting work spans multiple customers in China, for the HCL Best Practices group, using ClearCase Multisite and ClearQuest Multisite, within the Rational DevOps Suite. This includes both the On Premise and Cloud versions.
This is a long-term assignment covering multiple customers in China. HCL has a Worldwide Consulting/Lab Services business that includes multiple locations and covers the full spectrum from mainframe based activity to web-based J2EE architecture, RUP and Agile/Extreme modeling.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
? Maintain, control and manage multiple VOB-replicas from inception to production and "hotfix" delivery phases.
? Define, implement and manage build procedures and utilities for a seamless, automated environment.
? Implement Bill-of-Material reporting for all build processes.
? Integrate ClearCase, ClearQuest in a Multisite UCM environment.
? Resolve build problems/questions with project personnel.
? Automate the staging process for System Test, UAT and Production builds.
? Create and maintain SCM/CM documentation for build/release engineers and users.
? Implement continuous integration build methodology including "build-check-rebuild."
? Implement metrics gathering through scripting and Rational Project Console.
? Train and support users and build/release engineers for IBM Rational Tools.

Required Skills and Experience
Candidates will possess the listed skills and have relevant experience in the following areas:

? 4+ years programming experience in Software Configuration Management
(Hardware/Software integration experience desired)
? Experience as Configuration Management leader, including scripting languages like Ant, Perl, Shell, etc.
? Experience introducing CM (mentoring, training, process design, etc.) in an environment where no standards currently exist.
? In-depth administrative and usage knowledge of ClearCase Multisite and ClearQuest Multisite.
? Experience integrating ClearCase, ClearQuest and ReqPro.
? Experience in designing and implementing an automated build/release process in a Multisite UCM environment.
? CQ integration and traceability, coupled with continuous build logic as noted by most "Best Practices" standards with on-demand traceability from the business requirement in ReqPro to the change set moved into production in ClearCase.
? Bachelors Degree, preferably in MIS/CS or other analytical field or equivalent experience.
? The candidate will be customer-focused, demonstrate effective written and oral communication skills, manage meetings effectively, work effectively with a team, and lead the customer’s teams by example.
? Demonstrated experience in providing team leadership and mentoring to the extended customer, HCL and IBM teams.
? Excellent writing, communication, organization/time management skills. Strong Mandarin, Simplified Chinese and English skills, both oral and written.
? Ability to successfully interact with and coordinate across diverse parts of the HCL and customer organizations.
? Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
? Experience moving organizations to CMM 2 and 3 and Six Sigma/Lean Sigma desired.
? Experience and knowledge of Extreme Programming and Agile Development models is also desirable. 举报 分享
