Job Responsibilities:

？ Lead the Automotive Engine Oil effort in China to have a robust key OEM/Customer strategy and engagement plan positioning Oronite to be the Technology partner of choice for these key OEM/Customers:

？ Develop and execute the China OEM strategy which is integrated with Oronite’s global OEM strategy
？ Establish strong relationship and network with key OEMs and leverage for China National Standard and Engine Oil Union activities in China.
？ Develop and execute the OEM/Customer engagement plan and build synergy between the Product & Technology and Sales organizations.
？ Constantly stay abreast with industry trends and the direction that the OEM/Customer are taking
？ Ensure the organizational support and associated strategies are aligned with the China OEM/Customer strategy
？ Strong linkage to Oronite Asia Pacific regional and global management to ensure strategy and resource alignment
？ Coordination (including priority and funding requests) of all China technical support with the regional Technical Team Leader, the regional Product Line Manager and Global Product Development.

？ Help build Product & Technology Technical capability in China and mentor local P&T (Product &Technology) employees.
？ Identify changes to existing facilities and infrastructure to effectively support China business:

？ Manage 3rd party laboratories, and consult with COT-J (Chevron Oronite Technology Japan) and other Oronite leaders to ensure a coordinated approach to efficiently and effectively support the base business and ensure alignment with the envisioned Lube Oil Blending/lab capability in Ningbo.

？ Provide stakeholder input, expectations and coach the Product & Technology resources that are outside of China supporting the China business to ensure effective use of resources (influence model).
？ Member of the Oronite China Leadership Team to ensure alignment in policies and direction and represent Product & Technology organization
？ Participate in developing the overall China Business Strategy
？ Develop the China Product & Technology Business Plan integrating with the other business functions in China
？ Participate in setting the overall China employee policies
？ Manage the Product & Technology employees and contractors in China
？ Provide management oversight to the outsourced technical facility ensuring effective support as much as possible to the Sales & Marketing organization
？ Provide guidance to Lube Oil Blending and lab implementation under the China Manufacturing Plant project in Ningbo

Job Requirements:

？ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Chemical) or Chemistry, Masters or PhD preferred
？ At least 10 years of work related experience (preferably additives and lubrication)
？ Background and exposure from various applications in lubricants, additive and chemical industries is a plus
？ Supervisory/ people management experience is a must
？ Strong leadership, organization skills, and interpersonal skills
？ Demonstrated planning, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
？ Strong communication and presentation skills
？ Proficient in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken to liaise with the business and counterparts
？ Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word & Excel
