As an IBM GMU HR Workforce Analytics Analyst you will be part of a dynamic team that provides critical support and advice to the HR Process Leaders in Growth Markets.

The role involves applying your financial, process and personal communication skills to the task of supporting a range of HR Processes and HR Process Leads to:
Provide guidance on financial policy and management to process leaders & assist them in the Fall Commitment Planning process (corporate financial planning)
Develop and maintain accurate monthly forecasts, for your allocated processes and GMTs,
Undertake variance analyses to diagnose and correct budget anomalies, inculding the alignment of department codes to HR Processes
Undertake monthly/quarterly tracking & reporting of financial results/metric/ratios for your allocated processes
Liaise with your process leads and contact points to ensure informed and proactive management of process budgets
Understand and enhance the current HR cost recovery model
Set up and track Intercompany Agreements (ICA)
Work with other GMU HR Workforce Analytics Analysts, the GMU HR Workforce Analytics Team Lead, and Global HR Workforce Analytics to facilitate the consolidation and reporting of HR process budgets
Liaise closely with region finance teams to ensure ICA billings and gross spending are captured appropriately

Required Skills:
2+ years financial planning/operations experience (including understanding of financial flows, ledger output, forecast, understanding cost drivers)
A working knowledge of APEX/Essbase/WWspend, db2, BRIO
Experience as a team member of a project team implementing new financial systems and/or processes
Experience supporting executive level clients & stakeholders
Good spreadsheet skills, including pivot tables, filters, graphing
A desire to improve processes and seek out viable options/alternatives
An ability to build rapport and work effectively with people across many countries and cultures
A good working level of English - both written and spoken
