Job Title: Senior Sales Operation Manager-APAC
Report to: APAC Sales Director
Main Responsiblity:
- Effectively lead the APAC Sales Development Community. Establish & lead communities of best practice in field sales management and sales operations; identify programs to build overall organizational strength in these areas. Share & ensure best practice implementation across the region.
- Coaching & professional development of Sales Development Managers ensuring capability development to achieve GTM strategies.
- Support countries to execute the strategic direction with key distribution channels and strategic accounts
- Key stakeholder for GTM Tool (IT) roadmap & its execution (Sales Portal, Sell Thru Systems, SFA, BI, DET)
- Support Sales/Commercial target setting & KPI tracking
- Support in the preparation & delivery of the Monthly Performance Reviews, SBP & Budget planning processes
- Analyze & report sales performance vs. targets
- Support the countries to execute Distribution 2.0 initiatives
- Participate/support SAM (JBP process, objective setting and tracking, POS data analysis)
- Develop regional discipline and practice of gathering and utilizing sell thru data
- Report key sales trends, progress vs commercial targets, and gaps/opportunities to management. Propose/recommend action plans and strategies to improve sales performance and distribution.
Needed Competencies:
- Sales development/planning/management background and track record in FMCG industry preferred
- Previous Field Sales/Key Account Experience Highly Desirable
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Strong sales process knowledge, including working knowledge in sales fundamentals
- Fluent in English
- Strong leadership skills
Education:
Bachelor degree or above
Needed Work Experience:
- 5 to 10 years experience in sales management, development, and/or planning
- Some background, know-how and passion for sports either business or personal
- Regional/cross cultural experience preferred
- Successful track record in sales development
