Job Purpose

The Human Resources Associate is responsible for providing administrative support to Downstream Business by handling activities ranging from internal and external recruitment, employee transfers, on and off boarding staff, maintaining HR systems and data integrity, ad hoc policy advice and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities

General HR Process & Policy

- Support HR Account Managers and their respective client groups with HR transactions, queries, HR policies and programs and employee data

- Deliver generalist advise/policy guidance to managers and employees

- Support execution of HR processes and policies (e.g. IPR Progression)

- Payroll/Compensation -Track and record promotions, Work Status Changes, enter promotions, assist IPF input/upload

Shell People Transactions

- Data integrity for retail populations

- Ensure compliance to Shell People data integrity (e.g. upload of missing data; check on quality of data)

- Organization Management

- Change reporting relationships, cost centers create new positions and organizations

Staff Movement

- Facilitate on-boarding and off-boarding activities

- Provide (M)OR support population from broadcast co-ordination to handshake completion and placement

- Support on and off payroll activities

Requirements

- Experience and Qualifications required

- Solid HR Support/Assistant operation experience

- Perform well under pressure and has effective time management skills

- Strong working knowledge of Shell People, Microsoft Access, Excel and Power Point

- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), displaying customer focus and team working abilities
