Major accountabilities:
? As SQA Manager you are responsible for the Supplier Quality Assurance within the ZF Wind Business Unit in Tianjin plant. The SQA team secures the quality of delivered parts by our suppliers.
? As Supplier Quality Manager you lead the Supplier Quality Assurance activity within ZF Wind Power Tianjin, together with a team of 5 Supplier Quality Engineers.
? You are responsible for guiding your team on setting both Reactive (e.g 8D) and Preventive supplier development activities (P-FMEA, Continuous Improvement @ supplier, APQP)
? Supplier Quality Engineers within your team are responsible for the guidance and definition of technical requirements during the development of new products (NPI) prototype and 0 series phase in order to ensure the required quality during the start-up phase.
? SQA department deals leads and coordinate activities related to non-conformities at supplier side. Quality control is done by a team of incoming inspection engineers.
? You align with the head of supplier quality BU Wind on the standardization and harmonization of supplier development activities (both Preventive and Reactive). These are generally initiated by the central ZF Wind Power Business Unit, in line with corporate procedures and guidelines of the ZF Group.
? Based on supplier quality systems audits, KPI’s and supplier performance tracking data, you define the necessary actions to be executed by your team.
? As SQA Manager in Tianjin plant, you report on the SQA performance within the ZF Wind BU. You are the interface between suppliers and the internal teams of purchasing, manufacturing as well as R&D.
? In this role, you directly report to the Plant Quality head. You functionally report to the Head of Global Supplier Management of Wind Business Unit.
We expect:
? You to have an engineer background with at least 5 years of experience in a similar function (possible in combination with purchasing).
? You are a strong People Manager, with strong communication skills yet a diplomat.
? You are passionate about this business (steel, grinding, machining, bearings, etc.)
? You are motivated to work in the Wind business, even if this is very volatile and rather insecure at the moment
? You have experience with supplier contacts at an international level and have both the maturity and assertiveness to discuss quality with suppliers and colleagues.
? Knowledge about 8D, ISO 9001 and APQP tools (e.g. PFMEA, PPAP) is mandatory.
? You breathe systems and processes. You are focused on standardisation and implementation of best practices within our plants.
