ROLE
Project Leader
To secure that IKEA Product Quality requirements are fulfilled every day with the overall goal to always increase the number of "Happy Customers".
To continuously contribute to the development of IKEA business by initiating more efficient, Production methods, Packaging solutions and utilization of Raw material.

MS
To judge if the supplier has the necessary Manufacturing performance and systems in place to produce products for IKEA.
To have an in-depth knowledge of the specific materials, machines and processes used in their business segment.
They are also a reference to develop and implement Lean production concept.

COMPETENCE
Knowledge/Experience:
MUST HAVE
5 years working experiences in production and or technical support functions.
Technical background, engineer diploma.
Experience working as a manager.
Proven/documented knowledge/experience of the different production processes, machines and material characteristics and ability analyze suppliers manufacturing system.

HIGHLY REQUESTED
Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
Good computer software and systems skills.
Knowledge of the whole chain from raw material to finished goods, with thorough understanding of capacities and throughput times of the processes.
Good knowledge of production processes and materials.

GOOD TO HAVE
Good understanding of lean production concept together with records of achievements in production efficiency.
Understanding of Quality management systems.
Knowledge in auditing techniques and analysis of suppliers working methods and performance.
Good knowledge of the product requirements, standards and test methods.
