Job Objective
1. Work with QA manager to develop/implement business plans for process quality initiatives, objectives and metrics to
2. To ensure Plant's manufacturing processes, operations, product quality strictly comply with KORE & ISO requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices ,
3. To assess and develop the capabilities of the Associates on quality aspects on the job and to evaluate process/equipment capabilities through validations and process monitoring.
4. To evaluate new packaging material, authorize packaging supplier and ensure the packaging fitness for use and handling of all packaging material documentation which is part of quality system.

Key Result Areas
1. Ensure plant's operations continue keeping pace with new KORE requirements, regulations, quality management methods and industry best practices.
2. Regular conduct the risk assessment for plant key processes to mitigate the risk of failure to deliver Quality product.
3. Ensure that quality is built into the process by training Associates on Quality monitoring aspects.
4. Validate equipment and processes, routinely monitoring and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices of the highest standard.
5. Implement Quality requirements (KORE and ISO) and provide suggestions and recommendations for improvement based on food/pharmaceutical industry's experience.
6. As an internal auditor of quality system, actively participate the scheduled internal audit to continuous improve/upgrade plant's quality system and operations.
7. Develop new packaging suppliers to meet the increased volume and introduced new process/equipment, continuously optimize packaging material to improve the plant's performance on TDQ and SDR and ensure the packaging material meet our spec prior to use.
8. Create a technical library/database by compiling in an easy retrieval system all the technical information available in the plant post-commissioning and compiling the validation reports generated as a result of the Validation Master Plan implementation.
9. Ensure that all procedures, forms are made available throughout the plant via the development of software/intranet system and hard copies where necessary in a controlled manner via a solid document control.
10. Organize and support plant's associates to use the problem solving tools for root-cause analysis and action plans to eliminate the recurrence of quality issue.
11. Participate MRB/production meeting from a quality standpoint for decision regarding non-conforming products and ingredients and to the Customer Complains meetings for the joint investigation, response and corrective action implementation with manufacturing.
12. Assess existing processes/operations to seek the possibility to eliminate non-value activities by adopting OE concept and methodology.
13. Lead the team to play a key role in the implementation, assessment and improvement of Quality and Food Safety Management System
14. Lead and support all team on quality initiatives in both Operations and QA and driving Quality improvements.
15. Identify through the validation process and in process monitoring, trending, opportunities for process/productivity improvement
16. Coverage of production on a 2 shift operations is increasing the complexity, process QA being the first point of contact for any quality related production, the position requires to be on call at all times during production.
17. Conduct performance review for team member and have a joint responsibility with QA Manager for hiring, dismissal, disciplinary actions requests according to internal procedure.
