职位描述

1. Marketing Communications Strategies.
? Promote, develop and incubate breakthrough communication strategies, tactics and thinking.
? Contribute regularly to the development and analysis of STRAP, value propositions and segmentation.
? Has visibility to all market research and analysis of customer research, surveys, current market conditions and social media sites
? Works closely with business development to identify and prioritize and target key segments
? Works closely with product development to identify and prioritize product go-to-market strategies

2. Marketing Communications (Functional) Effectiveness. Manage and coordinate all marketing, advertising and promotional efforts on behalf of the organization, driving best practices and the overall effective of the global Marketing Communications function.
? Create and manage metrics to improve functional effectiveness.
? Champion global sourcing initiatives to increase efficiencies and reduce costs.
? Ensure coordination and collaboration with SBG/SBU/SBE and Corporate level initiatives.
? Annually, assesses the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
? Oversee and monitor performance of marketing agency and consultants ensuring high quality products and timely compliance with initiative time-lines.

3. Media Relations. Develop effective partnerships and working relationships with local and national media to ensure positive coverage, maximum exposure and to proactively place stories and speeches in targeted communication vehicles.
? Defend and grow our installed customer base via aggressive media relations programs that promote leadership and superior products.
? Proactively pitch and place stories to the media that are tied to current events, economic trends or business challenges.
? Facilitate media training sessions for executive and product marketing teams.
? Maintain trust relationships with key media and ensure spokespeople are viewed as "experts" by consumers and within the HVAC controls industry.
? Oversees all public relation efforts including providing solutions to multi-faceted public relations and marketing communication issues, including crisis management

4. External Business Communications and Executive Support. Develop effective communications plans, includes candidly counseling management on the best communications strategies.
? Support development of effective external communication plans related to acquisitions.
? Oversees the development of concept and copy for all high level communication projects including speech writing, advertising, web-based tolls, new letters, marketing materials and social media.
? Writes and edits high-level communication copy for the regional Vice President.GM and LOB leaders,

5. Marketing Communications Events. Help plan and execute internal/external events, including trade shows, annual sales meetings, Marketing Summits, and customer/new product rollout meetings.

6. Advertising Management. Create and place advertisements in key target publications to build awareness of products and services.

7. Creative Services. Oversee team, which designs and produces effective packaging and sales promotion tools, including capability brochures, sales flyers, POD, case histories, trade show graphics, interactive/multi-media and more. The Creative Services team collaborates across businesses to identify design project requirements and make sure all time, cost and quality objectives are met.

8. Web and Social Media Strategy.
? Creating and maintain a digital media strategy
? Lead and help direct the content of our business and consumer web sites, including the ongoing maintenance of copy/graphics.
? Plans, develops and directs social media strategies designed to optimize ability to reach and engage partners, members, key stakeholders and general public.
? Develops social media strategies and plans specifically targeted to events, products and research

9. Brand Compliance. Serve as Officer and work to ensure corporate identity standards are adhered to on all marketing communications projects and internal/external materials and initiatives.
? Develop and conduct Brand Audits/Integration programs for acquired companies.
? Responsible for building and sustaining a strong and compelling brand identity constant with mission and values.
? Ensures brand consistency in all communications and events.
? Identify opportunities and initiatives that build the brand.

Education level and/or relevant experience(s)
? BA/BS degree, MBA preferred.

Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
? Successful track record managing Marketing Communications (8-10 years) in a business to business environment.
? Both corporate and agency experience a plus.
? Demonstrated ability to drive and execute successful Communication / PR and marketing programs.
? Strong strategic thinking/planning skills and experience, with a proven track record of executing high-impact, results-oriented integrated marketing communications programs.
? Experience with social media (preferred)
? Experience creating communications plans for a channels organization a plus.
? Excellent business writing and editing skills.
? Excellent organizational and project planning skills
? Strong communication and presentation skills.
? Experience managing graphic designers/creative services team.
? Experience working with and managing outside agencies, particularly public relations firms.
? Strong influencing and negotiating skills with the ability to motivate and build high performance, cross-functional teams.
