Experience: 2 years minimum working in roles related to Purchasing, Supply Chain or Sourcing

Primary Skills (Technical & Functional)
? Category knowledge and expertise
? Exposure in MRO (Maintenance Repair & Overhaul)
? Must have good working knowledge of MS Excel.
? Excellent written & verbal communication in English and Japanese as well as the local language

Secondary Skills (Technical & Functional)
? Experience in any ERP Systems.
? Should have knowledge of MS Power Point and MS Access
? Problem resolution skills
? Good Analytical skills
? Basic Knowledge of Six Sigma

Job Responsibilities:
? Analytical skills for understanding user requirements and purchase requests
? Coordination skills to coordinate between stakeholders and suppliers
? Negotiation skills
? Information technology skills
? Understanding of cost savings strategies
? Experience in identification of new supply sources
? Analytical skills for cost analysis and supplier market analysis
? Information gathering skills for providing local market intelligence
? Understanding of sourcing strategies to contribute to local and regional strategies
? Issue resolution skills
? Category experience in one or more relevant categories
? Experience in tracking personal service level targets

Typical Day-to-Day Activity:
? Study shopping cart from user for accuracy and completeness
? Work with user on missing or incomplete information e.g.SOW
? Look up suitable vendors from category card
? Publish RFP to vendors to ensure minmum of 3 bids
? Ensure agreed turnaround time for vendor responses
? Put incoming bids into a summary for user
? Follow up with user to ensure PO issuance
? Upload data on online tracker tool
? For cases with fewer than 3 bids, submit request to Governance for savings approval

Other Activities

? Source new vendors for registration into the system
? Participate in management meetings
? Prepare reports as requested
? Work closely with client’s onsite representative to resolve issues
? Assist with post-PO delivery issues if agreed by cluster lead 举报 分享
