Purpose/Summary:
? Position Maersk Line as the preferred carrier and business partner for responsible key clients in East China.
? Proactively build up the touch point to link China and assigned key clients, develop deep and senior relationships with existing and future key clients, expand and develop the Maersk Line business engagement with them across China.
? Share best practice across Key Client Teams, and with PRE sales organization.

Key Responsibilities:
? Ensure aligned strategy with key client owners overseas, supporting the development of responsible key client’s business through coordination within ML and with various external stakeholders. Strategy to be reviewed regularly, and communicated thoroughly to ensure buy-in and understanding from all relevant stakeholders.
? Propose , deliver and exceed the agreed commercial targets (volume and yield), to ensure volume growth in a profitable way, and increase ML Share of Wallets from responsible key clients, by day-to-day support to local key clients and coordination with customer service, operations, trade and marketing team and overseas client managers.
? Act as local touch point in PRE to provide Ease of Business to customers, and achieve excellent levels of Customer Satisfaction.
? Create an environment of innovation and rapid response to client’s needs based on a deep awareness of their business from both a tactical and strategic perspective
? Plan and execute external client activities and events in an effective manner, by using Insight and monitor sales pipeline.
? Prepare reports and analysis for key client’s performance, to support business delivery and East China execution plan.
? Assisting with campaigns aimed at key clients

Skills Required:
? Strong communication and language skills
? Good interpersonal skills and ability to build trusted relationships across ML
? Experience within line operation, international trade, sourcing, retail or logistics/inventory management.
? Has strong knowledge about market, competitor and industry trends
? Being passionate, take initiative and drive to continuously develop and work with creativity and innovation
? Problem solving skills and highly result-oriented
? Proficient knowledge on Maersk Line sales systems, like Insight, SCV, Mars, RKMS
