Risk

Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, operational, credit, pension, insurance, compliance, regulatory, market, reputation and geopolitical risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.


We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.


In this role, you will:

-Review the complaint cases handling in complaint handling system to ensure business has effectively settled the customer complaints by following customer feedback handling guideline and procedure;

-Identify the “root cause” of the complaint cases and recommend the remedial actions to business;

-For complaint cases which are not obviously valid, focus on the commonality of case nature or customer allegation and share with management for awareness.

-Recommend practical resolutions to business owners or supporting functions;

-Work closely with LGA/CMP/ORC/SFR, etc. to evaluate the risks identified from complaints and report to senior manager whenever necessary;

-Coordinate and drive the implementation of resolutions;

-Assist team leader to analysis the customer complaints information and report critical findings to management;

-Highlight the risks to management and implement the mitigation actions guided by senior managers.

-Coordinate among frontline, back office and other counterparts to dig out the root cause for individual case and ensure the investigation process are align with bank procedure and regulation.


Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
-Bachelor degree majored in Finance, Economics or legal related.
-Minimum of 5 years proven and progressive customer experience or equivalent
-Strong knowledge of the customer service concept and its impact on customer relationships.
-Experienced in customer complaints handling or conflicts dealing.
-Experienced in effectively influencing and communicating across various business lines at different levels within the organization.
-Knowledge of the organization and its products, processes and pertinent regulations affecting their delivery.
