Role Description
JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to WBB China senior finance director, this role is partnering with China/HK consumer health business and has full responsibility to support Pfizer China/HK Consumer Health business for decision support, finance planning and analysis and finance operation. This role is the key contact point with GFS, WBB finance and PCH headquarters for finance transaction, finance systems, tax, treasury etc. In addition, this role support CCR for compliance and lead a finance team.
KEY RESULT AREAS & JOB ACTIVITIES /TASKS

Provide finance professional decision support to the business
1.Leading role to develop Pfizer China Consumer Health annual operation plan to ensure most efficient resource allocation and quality plan submission;
2.Being responsible for the integrity of PCH China/HK financial statement. Leading role to report and analyze the business operation result to PCH local and HQ management. Provide advice to business management so necessary actions are taken before any financial surprise take place;
3.Provide finance advice with business development project or investment initiatives to support the business decision making.

Ensure smooth finance operations within PCH business organization
1.Responsible for standardizing Consumer Health finance processes, organization, and systems. Ensure a smooth daily operation for PCH business;
2.Responsible for leveraging and sharing best practices across Finance (within market and globally) to improve processes and systems where applicable and possible;
3.Serve as key contact point with GFS, WBB, PCH HQ Global to ensure PCH China get sufficient and quality service or support in terms of finance transaction, tax, treasury and systems etc.

Develop a quality finance organization with Pfizer culture
1.Manages talent of China PCH finance team, including hiring, coaching, retention, development and performance management;
2.Roll out and maintain company culture, build up a capable and innovative finance team;
3.Manages enabling functions budget, where applicable including headcount decisions, resource allocation and synergy targets.

Ensure control and compliance
1.Ensure Pfizer global finance/accounting policies and procedures are implemented in PCH China/HK. Develop and implement local PCH specific policy and procedure for internal control and finance operation;
2.Ensure implementation of global and local FCPA policies in China PCH business, this may need align with WBB China or develop local PCH specific policies to ensure appropriate control is in place;
3.Support China CCR team for routine checking, reporting and escalation. Leading the corporate internal auditing or external auditing with support from China CCR team.


BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS

Educational /Training
1.University degree required in finance, accounting or related specialties. MBA preferred
2.CPA qualification a plus

Working Experiences
1.Minimum 6 years related working experiences in a multinational pharmaceutical or health care company
2.Proven success record with business support
3.Proven success record managing a finance team and develop finance talent

COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS
Technical requirements
1.Good understanding of Chinese and US GAAP;
2.Good understanding of local regulation in tax and business registration;
3.Fluent English skills in oral expression and business writing
