Position: Senior Compensation Analyst, APAC
Purpose of the position:
The APAC Senior Compensation Specialist is responsible for providing sound compensation solutions to the region, in order to support achieving the overall regional HR objectives.
Report to:Senior Compensation Manager, APAC.
Key responsibility areas:
Implement compensation strategies in AP countries
Manage compensation surveys, job matching, monitor data submission
Assist in developing paylines for all the AP countries
Facilitate efficient merit review guidelines and processes to drive pay for performance culture
Lead in the design, review and effectiveness study of incentive plans to support achieving business growth
Implement IR Equity programs in APAC
Contribute to regional compensation strategies and programs.
Advises and provides guidance to HR business partners and line managers throughout salary review cycle and advises them for ad-hoc individual salary treatment.
Assist setting up compensation guidelines and governance process, maintain consistent decision making in APAC region.
Contribute to the implementation to compensation communication programs to foster line managers and employees understanding on compensation offerings.
Conduct coaching/trainings/workshops on policies and market trends to equip sectors HR professionals in their daily management of Compensation and Benefits.
Supervise and manage vendors to ensure high-quality delivery of services.
This position interfaces internally with sector HR Managers, HR Business Partners and Senior Managers, Regional and Global C&B Team as well as external survey/services providers.
Qualifications:
4-5 years of compensation and benefits experience in multinational companies, experience in the industrial, consumer or manufacturing industries is a plus.
Extensive experience in designing and managing variable pay plans to drive pay for performance culture
Strong ability to understand the industry, competitors and customers
Be familiar with corporate environment while understand the business so that he/she can influence senior business leaders.
Be administratively sound with a keen attention to detail while has the ability to think strategically and drive results.
Good presentation skills, both written and oral, are required.
Good interpersonal skills and strong communication capability with senior managers.
