Purpose of position
This position is responsible for managing all commercial activities in Online Luxury group.cn, including local buying, merchandising and pricing. It's an essential role with the purpose to tailor Online Luxury group.cn offerings
Welcome e-business operation clients from luxury/mult brand
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver personalized product propositions and merchandising strategies based upon advanced segmentation of customer base in collaboration with the Pricing & Retail teams for Online Luxury group.cn.
- Formulate the merchandising plan and recommend the best product mix to support key performance target, including sales, profitability and brand equity
- Establish correct product target prices at the initiation for each development and reaffirm costing strategies for each product introduction
- Monitoring the progress of sales, profitability of website and stock management, find creative and commercially effective ways to promote products
- Supervise your team to ensure critical products are adequately promoted and to guarantee a product rotation that keeps the site looking fresh.
- Interface with HQ to keep up-to-date on their Merchandising initiatives, create the local customer profile providing a clear understanding of the product demand in China.
- Drive innovative ideas/initiatives to lead customer growth and brand awareness through strong product story and offers following the commercial plan.
- Devise appropriate, customer and country specific product campaigns to drive new qualified traffic and customers to the site.
- Keep tabs on the fashion world in general and competitors in particular (reading fashion publications, performing store checks on- and offline), conduct market visit and fashion trend analysis to make the trend projection
- Assist in building and maintaining a strong local and global vendor network to meet customers' current and future business needs.
- Liaise with PR & Communication dept for corporate and product communication specific to the China market and ensuring that all marketing activities keep in line with brand values and guidelines.
- Work in collaboration with Marketing dept across all online and offline marketing activities: Web Marketing, Special projects, commercial initiatives and newsletters
- In charge of Online Luxury group.cn technological evolution, in terms of content and product offer, performances and continuous improvements in liaison with the Online Luxury group.com site manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
