SUMMARY
Take the major and pivotal responsibility for handling Server & Storage power Design (AC/DC and DC/DC). Provide necessary supervision and helps to the design engineers and Drive innovation and continuous improvement within Jabil by harnessing new testing technologies and methodologies. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to the following:

? As the main point of contact to the electronics designers for all the servers & storage projects power development and introduction to Manufacturing
? Focus on both product development (e.g. time to market, quality, delivery, cost etc) and manufacturability issues (e.g. DFx reporting, materials and supplier management etc.)
? Develop, refine, optimize, and maintain the design processes & methods for all project development and documentation
? Create an infrastructure that stimulates collaboration, execution and the development of technologies between the cross-function teams
? Create and maintain awareness within the customer of the team achievements, objectives and concerns
? Liaise with BU project Managers to co-ordinate programs and initiatives, Develop Improvement Programs for the team leaders in the project and monitor the execution of the improvement programs.
? Support & Co-Ordinate the scheduled Business Review and Metrics driven process for all information
? Manage the development process of products and services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of new or Existing products;
? Develop project plan, schedule, milestone, budget and both inputs and outputs deliverables; monitor the project from initiation through delivery
? Communicate project issue status to Jabil internal and external teams
? Organizes the interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints.
? Manage design business quotation (RFI/RFP/RFQ) & award and the project financial budgets

Person Background:
? Master's of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
? 6+ years of experience as a power engineer designing computing power systems including AC-to-DC and DC-to-DC, rectifiers, DC panels, lightning protection and EMC filtering will be required
? Good experience of VRM, VRD for Intel CPU, AC/DC switching power supply, Telco DC/DC power supply, etc.
? Experience providing storage and network engineering mentor and supervision for design implementation
? Proficiency Level Written and Verbal English Skills

We work closely with Jabil Business Units, Workcells and customers to quickly progress concepts into volume production. In addition, we incorporate vital Design for Manufacturability (DFm) and Design for Testability (DFt) guidelines that reduce production costs and increase product quality.

Our Design capabilities include electrical engineering, software engineering, PCB layout, mechanical engineering, industrial design, tooling engineering, and quality assurance.

We currently maintain product competencies in networking, servers and storage, mobile and wireless products and consumer electronics.

Advanced Manufacturing Technology (AMT)
Advanced Manufacturing Technology provides customer and sales support, systematic training, equipment and process capability studies, implementation support and technology roadmaps for advanced manufacturing, test and failure analysis processes and emerging product technologies.

Global Test Services (GTS)
Global Test Services provides test development and support for all Jabil manufacturing facilities.
