Risk

Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, operational, credit, pension, insurance, compliance, regulatory, market, reputation and geopolitical risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

• Be able to identify the root cause of fraud change via observing or analyzing the current and historical fraud status.

• To assist Senior Fraud Risk Manager to implement and execute the fraud risk management (FRM) strategies to minimize risks of exposure & loss and attainment of strategic & operating objectives.

• Assure timely submission of a variety of fraud reports with high quality on a regular basis, including ad-hoc data mining request from internal teams.

• Guide team members to improve data mining efficiency and effectiveness with high profession analytic skills and knowledge.

• Establish new data models to improve data mining efficiency

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong sense of credit card business and understand credit card products

• Sound experience in credit card fraud analytics.

• Advanced knowledge in Excel, Access , SAS, SQL knowledge is preferred; good command in other MS software.

• Sensitive to figures and meticulous about data integrity.

• Be able to work under high pressure and meet submission deadlines.

• Fluency in both written and verbal English and Mandarin.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skill

• Strong planning, prioritization and organizational skills

• Knowledge of criminal law, law of evidence and banking law and regulations
