I E-commerce management
1) Client contact for all E-Commerce matters, to the Client Project Manager, and potentially execution team
2) Team primary contact, with a strong staffing responsibility and organizational effectiveness improvement
3) Provide inputs to the General Manager – Business Operations and Digital Services to develop:
a. a strategic plan to advance the E-Commerce department mission and objectives and to promote revenue, profitability and growth of the department
b. the best and most suitable e-commerce strategy for Clients (e.g. choice of platforms, product strategy per platform …)
c. the right Marketing strategy and communication/promotion strategy and plan for E-Commerce Clients as well as to effectively plan product launch schedules and campaigns
4) Drive and supervise, and take all responsibilities to develop/produce:
a. the S+1 Product Management Plan and all related forecast
b. the sales targets and budgets for E-Commerce Clients
c. All reports and analytics
5) Drive the development and management of all e-market places activities:
a) Based on sales targets, sell-through performance and market trends, ensure proper merchandising (width, depth, size run) of respective seasonal products, development of product flow, alignment of pricing and product range with Brand(s) China distributor (if the case), and placement of product orders for ecommerce stores
b) Ensure user interface maintenance, site look and feel and display in accordance to sales and marketing targets
c) Ensure optimal management of Tmall marketing tools (such as TaobaoKe) and media buying (such as Star Banners) and equivalent tools in other market places
d) Effectively develop promotion campaigns to manage inventory (in-season and past season products)
e) Ensure creation and management of necessary product information by the E-store Manager and Copywriter
f) Ensure maintenance of user’s interface by the IT programmer and E-store manager
g) Ensure proper collaboration with Logistics Provider Partner to coordinate prompt and accurate product delivery and returns
h) Ensure the best level of customer service in supervising and managing partner
6) Assist the General Manager – Business Operations and Digital Services to formulate proposals and manage service pricing
7) Oversee E-Commerce department operations to ensure timeliness, efficiency, and quality of delivered services, and cost-effective management of resources
8) Smoothly cooperate and efficiently coordinate with other departments, especially for brands using both Company offline and online services
9) Work closely and coordinate with Marketing Department, especially in relation to digital marketing
10) Maintain relationship with key business partners of the department, especially from e-platforms
II Management
1) Evaluate performance of team under responsibility for compliance with established policies, objective achievements and contribution to department and company performance
2) Lead, manage, train, develop and supervise team under responsibility
3) Keep abreast of latest digital trends and share them with team, peers and management
4) Propose department operational procedures, policies and standards
5) Provide strong, professional and detailed reports, enabling to capitalise actions and lead corrective actions if needed
6) Review activity reports to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and propose corrective measures if needed
