Job Description:

R&D Tech Leader in the Application Life Cycle Management (formerly Quality Center) - platform group.

Products Descriptions:

HP ALM (Application Life Cycle Management, formally Quality Center), is industry-leading, global quality management software. It lets organizations manage the quality process for delivering high-quality applications efficiently and effectively.

HP ALM offers a single, web-based application that supports all essential aspects of quality management. It provides a consistent, repeatable process for gathering requirements, planning and scheduling tests, analyzing results and managing defects and issues. This software enables your organization to digitize specific quality processes and procedures within the larger application lifecycle. It also supports high levels of communication and collaboration among IT teams.

Responsibilities:

• Technical leader of a team of Java and .NET developers. The team works closely with other development teams and L3 support engineers. The team operates in highly dynamic environment and develops innovative solutions to customers of a worldwide leading product.
• The technical leader will participate and lead technical designs and code reviews, train and mentor team members.
• The technical leader will work closely with other development groups, L3 support teams and customers.
• The technical leader will also drive knowledge sharing among the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Computer Science / Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of overall experience as part of meaningful software development lifecycle.
• Strong English communication capabilities (verbal and written).

• Deep knowledge in J2SE server side. At least 5 years of experience.
• Experienced in working with JDBC and databases, preferably SQL Server.
• Experienced in multi-threading programming.
• Experience in conducting code and design reviews.
• Strong design, coding, and problem solving skills.
• Experience in working with Spring framework – Advantage.
• Experience in .NET – advantage.

• Should be able to understand customer needs and product’s business value.
• Ability to work with team members, train and mentor them on coding and design.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to work with customers and solve conflicts.
