职位描述
Actively identify prospective customers through cold calling, prospecting and following up on referrals and leads from Agents;
Introduce the business and services to prospects utilising an assertive selling approach;
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all shipping services offered by the Agency and the Line and apply it effectively in diagnosing customer requirements;
Develop and deliver effective sales presentations;
Achieve sales targets set out by the Line to increase shipments;
Manage successful relationships with new clients by keeping regular contact through an effective combination of in person visits, phone calls and email correspondence;
Investigate and resolve new client issues in a timely manner;
Monitor email and other means of communication to ensure prompt responses to new and prospect client needs;
Provide efficient follow-up care to each active and potential client.
Develop and maintain a profile of prospects and clients for use in developing sales leads;
Maintain up-to-date customer data and ensure they are correctly displayed in system;
Report sales activity to Line regularly to ensure enough space on ships and to ensure maximum shipment opportunities;
Keep accurate records that accounts for time spent prospecting, visiting clients, cold calling etc.
