Job description
This role is responsible for leading projects and coordinating transformation activities for the eDelivery Transformation team, part of the BT/IT CIO Global Workforce and Web Process Enablement organization. He/she will be required to work with a global team including brand/business stakeholders, BT/IT teams, and IGA partners to perform strategy analysis, execute transformation activities, and deliver projects successfully. The project manager will be expected to effectively communicate project status and results to peers and management. The project manager is accountable for performance, cost, scope, schedule, quality, and appropriate business measurements for their project/segment of the project. The project manager must apply the necessary project management methodologies while ensuring that standards are adhered to throughout the project. Critical success factors and skills include: - Ability to effectively implement a project management system and drive execution through all phases of the project lifecycle. - Ability to translate business objectives into project scope - Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders and partners - Creativity, innovation, and problem solving skills to overcome project challenges, resolve issues, and find ways to over-deliver value to the business. - Strong communication/negotiation skills including ability to adapt messaging for the appropriate audience
