Marketing Communication Manager
Sandvik is a high-technology, engineering group with advanced products and world-leading positions within selected areas. Worldwide business activities are conducted through representation in more than 130 countries. Sandvik’s operations are based on unique expertise in materials technology and extensive insight into customer processes. This combination has provided world-leading positions in selected areas - tools for metal cutting, equipment and tools for the mining and construction industries, stainless materials, special alloys, metallic and ceramic resistance materials as well as process systems.
The position would directly report to Marketing Manager, SANA, below please refer to the job description:
Key performance area:
Take responsibility for planning, implementing and monitoring any marketing communication and internal communication activities within GCR and give supports of the same kind to Korea market.
Ensures a smooth and seamless process to support sales with high quality and differentiating marketing communication material and activities in line with the brand position
Ensure that plans, activities and communication with the market become successful and are measured and followed up
Develop and improve activities supporting the business objectives and growth strategy as highlighted in Sales and Marketing Action Plan
Actively take a part in defining the yearly marketing planning
Actively take a part in driving and leading changes in improving the overall marketing process and synergies
Execute and evaluate marketing campaigns, external/internal events, trade shows and customer visits
Communicate marketing and communication needs within sales to the Marketing Manager.
Ensure usage of global online marketing that is synchronized with global online sales
Actively work for a digital approach and support internal awareness in the digital area of marketing and sales
Ensure good marketing cooperation with machine tool builders and distributors
Maintain good relationship with media and industry organizations
Strictly control costs and support the Marketing Manager in budgeting and forecasting process.
Build an efficient and motivated MarCom team
Implement quality control of all marketing works and seek continuous improvement
Your profile:
Education to degree level or equivalent, business, marketing or communication based
Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, marketing or business
Good thinking, solid analysis and creative brainstorming
Excellent communication and writing skills
Project management
Computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office, graphic applications (print, web)
Fluent in English, Korean language preferred
