POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sales Manager is responsible for aggressively growing sales in his or her assigned region. Principal activities include end user visits, project development, reseller management and training, sales tenders, and product trials.


ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

The Sales Manager reports to the National Sales Director.


HUMAN RELATIONS:

This position requires daily contact with end users and distributors. The candidate will also regularly interface with the broader Greenlee team, especially sales management, product management, marketing, and business development. This individual must be disciplined, a self-starter, self-confident, and exhibit strong time-management skills, must be able to work independently with minimum supervision. He or she must quickly develop the respect of internal and external customers to successfully execute the responsibilities of this position.

PRINICIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:

? Aggressively grow Klauke, Endura and Greenlee Utility sales in the assigned region(s). The candidate must approach aggressive sales targets with a positive attitude and embrace challenges.

? Candidate must be extremely comfortable doing cold calls to new accounts and underserved markets. Position requires close familiarity with product applications and a demonstrated ability to work directly with end users.

? Develop and maintain a strong sales opportunity pipeline independently, with minimal oversight or direction. Work closely with distributors and all functional areas to actively develop new sales opportunities, track sales goals, and overcome obstacles.

? Cultivate deep expertise in industrial market segments, especially power, rail, shipbuilding, and specialized industry such as wind turbine manufacturing.

? Develop new Tier 1 and Tier 2 distributors. Provide product and sales training to the distributors to develop professional partnerships and drive sustainable growth.


? Must be a team player and willing to work with others; sensitivity to other cultures and team dynamics are important.

? Responsible for ensuring the all activities are conducted in compliance with the Textron Business Conduct Guidelines.


 Requirements:

1,Bachelors Degree in a technical or business field plus five or more years of technical sales experience.

2, Prior experience managing and developing distributor and end user relationships. experience in the target industries (principally rail, power, and specialized industry) would be a plus, or a strong understanding of the tool industry in China.

3,Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as strong interpersonal abilities, mature personality are required.

4, High energy level required, results driven with high level of integrity, and be able to effectively prioritize work based on the target and resource analysis

5,Have excellent proven records of performance, Achieving goal for consecutive 3 years

6,Candidate must be comfortable reading and writing English. Oral English skills are preferred but not required.

7,MS office proficiency required

8, Willing to handle 60% of travelling

9, Strong team work spirit needed
