Finance Controller – North China
Purpose & general responsibilities of the position:
Greater China Cluster Finance team works closely with Maersk Line Greater China commercial team with control & compliance as well as financial business partnering to support business decisions. Maersk North China Finance representative position will take the coordinator role of SG&A analysis, end to end process control, internal/external audit coordinator and Administrative management. The role requires attention to detail and a commercial mind-set in SG&A analytics and risk control.

Specific responsibilities of the position:

Take ownership of Maersk Line SG&A data/information to influence Commercial decisions:
? Have a strong understanding of SG&A cost drivers
? Make or cooperate with team/GSC to deliver qualified SG&A analysis report
? Provide commercial functions with correct, timely and aligned SG&A picture for
the direction of their cost controlling
? Coordinate and drive all SG&A saving programs, monitor the result and ensure
its’ realization in the monthly report
? Work on process and policy, for SG&A behavior management

Facilitate end to end internal process control in line with Maersk policy or for simplification:
? Be keenly awake to redundant or risky process, and active to improve it for business support and efficiency
? Ensure Policy Adherence along with Control and compliance Administrative management
? Coordinate ADM colleagues in North China for task alignment
? Cooperate with SGH ADM TL on service control and improvement Internal communication:
? Bridge between Cluster and GSC of commercial awareness, changes, implementation and etc.
? Communicate with NGA and CTC on IIT tax process control
? Timely communicate with commercial functions for any finance announcement and enhance the engagement cross functions

Job Description

Support all types of Audit (Statutory, Tax, and Govt. Internal etc.)
Ad-hoc support to management and other audit stakeholders

Specific requirements for the position:
? Bachelor degree, at least 5 yrs’ reporting experience in multinational companies.
? Strong analytical skills with clear and logic presentation delivery (Excel, PPT).
? Be able to handle multi-tasks and deliver under pressure.
? Excellent interpersonal skills and influencing skills.
? Passionate about the job and work proactively.
