Day to Day Responsibilities:
Identify, assess and execute potential mergers, acquisitions and investments by the company
Guide acquisition target research, support the related strategy forming, building detailed financial models, and lead the execution of transactions
Maintain contacts with a network of financial advisors and industry experts with a goal of identifying future acquisition candidates for consideration
Education & Experience
3-5 years post MBA from a leading educational institution, excellent academic credentials
Experience on industry and technology M&A preferred. Comfortable working with the technology community
Project management experience
Required Skills
Strong analytical and negotiation skills, strong leadership & team building skills
Demonstrated familiarity with investment transactions in China/Asia, ideally with both M&A/JV transactions and organic green field investment investments
Good command of English and presentation skills
Desired Skills
Demonstrated ability to achieve challenging objectives in a complex environment where successful engagement of internal and external stakeholders are required through experience at a major corporation, management consulting firm or investment bank
Familiar with a major international corporate environment; ideally have overseas study/working experience
Soft Skills
Generalist orientation - have broad knowledge of business, finance, legal, or technology issues but can also drill down to critical issues to help problem solve
