General Summary/Scope 基本描述

This individual will be responsible for the formulation and successful execution of the new localized product development lifecycle of the Product strategy.

Develops, implements and refines global strategy. Maintains systems and resources necessary to support the market planning and analysis, market pricing strategy, sales model and channel strategy. Initiates and drives new product development while focusing on where products will fit with overall international sales policy and assist in long and short range strategic planning to achieve organizational objectives.


Major Responsibilities/Duties 工作职责 % of Time
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
1) Drives market, by defining new growth opportunities and the associated marketing strategy. Assisting in action plan to turn new opportunities into business.
2) Develop an integrated, global strategic marketing plan to optimize our product offering and impact in the marketplace.
3) Understand competitive product offerings, features, benefits, pricing, positioning and strategy to position products appropriately for maximum impact.
4) Develop policies for pricing incentives and sales strategies; interpret and adapt to international market conditions by understanding product/market trends and dynamics, and how it impacts global pricing, demand, and market/supply chain analysis to be competitive.
5) Continually monitor/benchmark (develop & monitor key performance indicators) international business conditions, including regulatory and service bodies, and be able to interpret and adapt to them to ensure a competitive market position.
6) Oversee all aspects of product marketing including promotion, new product development and recommend existing product line rationalization.
7) Maintain and enhance positive working relationships with sales management and the agency base.
8) Development and implementation of various channel, market and customer marketing initiatives as required to meet sales plan.
9) Maintain communication with management team to relate status of marketing and new product development activities. Assist in presentation of major proposals and recommendations.
10) Coordination with commercial team and facility, production, engineering team to fulfill the product goals and so on.

 NATURE AND SCOPE:
This position is primarily accountable for the marketing and new product development efforts to grow the Product Line in China. This individual must monitor and evaluate market trends for planning purposes and is responsible for identification, research, market and profitability analysis of product development with the objective of achieving aggressive growth. Recommends and develops strategic alliances, and maintains network with potential clients.

Education教育背景: Degree in Business Administration/ Marketing/ Engineering
Experience 经验: At least 5 to 7 years job related experience
Language skills语言: Native Chinese, English fluent in writing & conversation
Computer skills 电脑: /

Strong quantitative and project management skills
A strong and accurate feel for consumer/product marketing needs
Creative with strong interpersonal abilities
Excellent communication skills
Have strong local (China Market) knowledge.
This individual must have the ability to deal diplomatically and effectively with international customers and must also effectively manage a multi-cultural international sales function and its sales personnel. Must have comprehensive understanding of the global business environment and the challenges inherent to conducting business in a multi-cultural and political climate.
