Risk
Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, operational, credit, pension, insurance, compliance, regulatory, market, reputation and geopolitical risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:
• To assist Senior Fraud Risk Manager to implement and execute the fraud risk management (FRM) strategies to minimize risks of exposure & loss and attainment of strategic & operating objectives.
• To enable business by act as 2 LoD to assess fraud risks and advising adequate fraud prevention measures and controls.
• To analyze fraudulent activities and prepare materials to improve fraud awareness of all bank staff, especially sales staff.
• To ensure product, procedures, policies in compliance with related laws and regulations.
• To assist all HBCN branches to handle FRM related regulatory requests and projects.
• To maintain constructive relationship with internal strategic partners.

Qualifications
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Good appreciation of fraud risk management concept and framework.
• A high level of professional competence knowledge and experience in personal and corporate banking products and services, the operations and/or branch procedures
• Fluency in both written and verbal English and Mandarin.
• Good communication skills.
• Good understanding of local markets and knowledge of regulatory matters handling.
• Strong planning, analytics, prioritization and organizational skills
• Good stakeholders, internal and external, management skills
• Knowledge of criminal law, law of evidence and banking law and regulations a plus
• Good relationship with peer banks, card association and law enforcement definitely a plus.
