Risk
Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, operational, credit, pension, insurance, compliance, regulatory, market, reputation and geopolitical risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:
To support Recovery Manager and individually (a) manage corporate Bad and Doubtful loan portfolio; (b) work in close collaboration with RMs to manage the LMU accounts.
To support the SVP of Loan Management Unit in (a) various internal and external reports; and (b) Ad-hoc projects.
To be in charge of (a) SOX coordinator; (b) Administration works; (c) Internal and External reporting coordinator

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Typically qualifications would include an undergraduate or post-graduate degree in Finance, Commercial law, Accounting or related field. Over 2 year experience in commercial Bank or relevant fields, especially in business, post-lending and Recovery devision
Exposure to dealing with business, critical accounts and NPLs, to manage the distressed portfolio at bank level; Working across all levels of the organization to understand cross-functional linkages and interdependencies, as well as the implications of credit and other risks at both a strategic level and at the Global Business level.
Good understanding of HSBC overall business dynamics.
Acceptable level to have an open-mind to evaluate and analyze the consequences of each strategy/action to determine the best course of action, in the changing legal environment. Acceptable levels maturity, resilience and attention to details, skilful in statistic works and good understanding on the regulatory requirement
