Amazon Business is a new marketplace on Amazon.com that combines the selection, convenience and value customers have come to know and love from Amazon, with new features and unique benefits tailored to the needs of business purchasers. As highlighted recently in the press, Amazon Business reached $1 Billion in annual revenue within its first year of being launched, and is growing at high speed monthly.
Amazon Business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Manager in China. This strong individual will be responsible for developing communication strategy/content, as well as building content assets for Amazon Business, to support seller acquisition and success.
The Marketing Manager is a critical role, and will interact with multiple teams across Amazon’s global organization to drive overall Amazon Business awareness through consistent and precise content development. The ideal candidate will have to be super customer obsessed, willing to dive deep into seller business blockers, pain points, using right content and education program etc. scalable approach, program to help seller to discover business opportunities, build strong sales in Amazon global business. She/he should be able to working in a cross functional, fast-paced environment; has strong communication skills in both external and internal customers, verbal and written; extremely customer obsession, can develop scalable approach to address business blockers. Keys to success include has strong content marketing skills, analytical skills, creativity, project management and interpersonal skills, along with an intense customer obsession. Core Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing plan to support Amazon Business awareness growth in China, and support business goal;
- Work closely with Amazon Business Marketing team in Seattle to keep message align and updates;
- Build Amazon Business content assets for public communication use including presentation deck, mass mail to sellers, education content to support seller recruitment and seller success;
- Develop marketing collaterals to support sales use;
- Work closely with local sales team, global product team, cross country teams to prioritize and execute global initiatives
- Partner with global teams to share best practice, and standardize metrics and approaches on content marketing and education program.
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate processes and improve education efficiency.
- Manage team to grow talent
- Manage budget and vendor
Basic qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or literature.
- 5-10 years’ experience in marketing
- Business Acumen
- Strong ability on content development, maintenance
- Strong ownership, bias for action, and discipline in establishing and improving processes
- Excellent interpersonal skills; outstanding in team work, has ability to work successfully with teams across the organization, including sales, product management team, customer service
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior level executives
- Excellent presentation and written communications skills in both Chinese and English, written and verbal.
