Mediterranean Shipping Company (Hong Kong) Limited was founded in 1996 and developed rapidly in the Greater China Region. In Mainland China, MSC HK has already set up representative offices in Beijing, Dalian, Foshan, Fuzhou, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Huangpu, Ningbo, Nanjing, Qingdao, Shanghai, Shantou, Shenzhen, Shunde, Tianjin and Xiamen and opened the WuHan Documentation Center in 2011.
