Objectives Settings and Executions

Proactively contribute to the achieving of his or her R&D unit objectives on project executions

Inquiry/Proposal Management

Actively provide adequate technical insights into the interpretation of the RFPs and ensure the preparation and delivery high-quality proposals for the inquiries from the clients to maximize the rates of winning the bids

Project Management

· Take the full advantage of being close to the clients, and proactively and timely identify the dynamic needs of the clients and respond promptly with appropriate moves via arranging internal resources well enough

· Work closely with BD colleagues, supported by Program Managers, to proactively communicate with the clients about the latest status of projects and well manage their expectations

· Visit clients along with BD colleagues if needed for project and business updates to enhance the client relationships

· Managing a few projects with a few teams from different geographic locations simultaneously with clear development strategies (short and long-term planning) toward the successful deliveries

· Work closely with project team members to deep dive into the technical details if needed

Actively coordinate and host regularly scheduled project meetings with clients

People Management

· Be involved in end year performance evaluation to proactively give feedbacks to the project managers and team members he or she worked with.

Achieves a true culture of empowerment, innovation, trust, high performance and continuous improvement mind-set in the project teams

BD, Program Mangers, Production Unit Heads, Quality Unit Head (QA/QC), Purchasing Unit Head, Production Master Planner, Finance Analyst, Technical Center Director, Plant Operations Head

5+ years of API development experience in Big Pharma, Biotech companies or top CDMOs

· Mastery of modern organic synthetic approaches

· Understanding of phase appropriate API process development, and technological transfers

· Possessing certain knowledge in cGMP concepts, process analytical techniques, production operations and plant equipment, etc

Understanding of QbD concepts and regulatory affairs will be a plus

Excellent coordination, project management, interpersonal and business communication skills

Fluent in English and Chinese
