Position description:
We are looking for a Technical Manager Automation, Navigation & Communication Systems (ANC) especially Propulsion Control Systems (PCS) with good project management skills for Wartsila SAM Electronics Taizhou, Wärtsilä Marine Solutions, E&A Business Line in Wärtsilä China.

Technical Manager ANC systems is; responsible for technical development and execution of all projects in the order book of Wartsila SAM Electronics Taizhou, the driving force in the development of new technical solutions and productions methods, mainly with the focus on advanced Automation and PCS systems.
The Technical manager has to improve the total system capabilities of the company and focus on the overall technical quality.

Responsibilities:
- Technical responsibility for advanced Automation Systems and fully
  integrated ANC projects.
- Leads the development of special Automation functions and new
  products developments.
- Communications with Classification for product and project approvals
- Technical manage (plan, steer, follow-up, analyses and report) projects in close co-operation with the project team.
- Offer support to project team and sales in communication with customer
  (shipyard, ship designer and ship owner) for contracted and new projects

Requirements Desired Skills:
- Electric Engineering background in Automation Systems
- Experience with engines and propulsion systems
- Extensive knowledge of Automation Programming.
- Proven Project management skills
- Good communication skill in English and Chines
- Strong team work orientation
- Being forward thinking and goal focused

Education:
- Technical background in Automation
(BSc or MSc in Electrical & Automation Engineering)
- Fluent skills in English, both oral and written

Experience:
- Minimum 6 years of working experience
- Practical experience from shipyard or shipbuilding industry, technical
  knowledge of applicable systems, on-board marine and/or offshore
