Job Main Responsibility & Content
1. Implement and maintain Quality Systems
2. Ensure all work practices and operating procedures are developed and maintained.
3. Ensure all product specifications are available and maintained.
4. Develop and implement testing procedures and adequate statistical controls to monitor and control the quality of the raw materials used on site against the agreed supply specifications.
5. Regularly review raw material suppliers and the quality specifications for raw materials to ensure end product quality meets customer's expectations.
6. Responsible to Monitor and analyse customer returns and product non-conformance problems. Determine the root cause and implement appropriate correction actions with manufacturing managers.
7. Provide quality control reports for management review.
8. Ensure Inspection Controls are in place and well followed by your team.
9. Ensure all testing equipment is maintained and calibrated.
10. Maintain up-to-date technical and product quality information.
11. Provide technical support to resolve process issues to ensure product quality and delivery times are maintained.
12. Develop systems and standards for the implementation of new products into production.
13. Participate in identification of material and/or product sourcing options.
14. Ensure the required product regulatory requirements are met and maintained.
15. Identify and recommend process or product improvements that will increase the performance or reduce the cost of the product.
16. Plan, justify & implement working methods required to give improvement in the operation, profitability and safety of the site.
17. Establish systems to track recurring deviations, and lead and train others in FMEA, Problem-Solving, Corrective Action processes
18. Provide state of the art technical and statistical knowledge and tools to operations and materials staff.
19. Review for approval parts out of tolerance from suppliers
20. Be the main contact of customers for quality discussions
21. Ensure that all employees have the necessary training and understanding to guarantee their safety in the workplace, working in partnership with the site Safety Manager.
22. Ensure on-time delivery of technical projects and related documents.
23. Through continuous improvements assist in the insurance that the operation is a leader in the manufacture of quality glass and its reputation as a world leader in the manufacture of quality solar glass is maintained and enhanced.
24. Ensure that the plant is operated and controlled in a manner which complies with environmental policies and legislation set down for the plant.
25. Support the development of Standard Operating Procedures to ensure best practice is applied to all areas for which you have responsibility.
26. Be responsible for the following areas : Laboratory, Quality control (Rolled and Toughening) and Quality Assurance systems
27. Be the representative of administration for the certificates such as ISO9000 and ISO 14000


Education： Bachelor degree or above
Major：Physics or Chemistry, Engineering, Eelectronics or equivalent
Working Experience： 8 year
Skills & Knowledge Required：
1. English speaking fluently
2. Strong Leadership and commitment to deal with high quality demanding.
3. Experience in glass Industry, preferably low iron flat glass manufacturing unit for Solar Bussiness application, minimum 8 years.
4. At least 3 years experience in supervisory level.
5. Proven record in application of technical related analytical and problem solving tools.
6. Proven record in Quality Systems management.
7. Good interpersonal skills are required to deal with several areas such as production, sales, supply chain, etc.
8. Familiarity with lean manufacturing methods such as Black Belt and 6 Sigma is desirable.
9. Logical mind and methodical approach.
10. Proactive approach and the ability to work to deadlines and prioritise.
11. Capability to challenge.
12. Tenacity and drive.
13. Attention to detail with high analytical ability.
14. Experience of achieving ISO and high customer quality standards.
