POSITION SUMMARY:

1. Take lead of Turbo Taicang MES system Implementation and maintenance.

2. Ensure local implementation will follow global MES strategy and standard.

3. Work closely with ME and shop floor engineers to design optimal MES processes, like down-stream and up-stream production traceability, Production order execution process through each workstation, machine maintenance schedule and process, etc.

4. Work closely with local and global IT to design a stable and high efficient MES architecture for Taicang plant.

5. Daily MES system support & trouble shooting, new requirements & enhancement analysis, new report development to meet business progress.

6. Provide necessary training to all related MES users

7. Interacts with all levels of the organization as a team to produce and be accountable for desired results.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

1. Basic Shop floor Process knowledge to create flows, set right parameters on machine and analyze data

2. Should have the working experience of on-site supporting, running machines for problem solving and process improvement

3. English Communication

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

1. University or College Graduate with the Major in Information Technology, or Mechatronics Automation and etc. Good knowledge of PLC, HMI programming is preferred.

2. The position requires at least 2~3 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in a medium to large scale manufacturing, in automotive industry is preferred

3. Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control tools (Minitab, SPC, PFMEA, Gauge R&R and etc.) is required

4. More than 4 years working experience in MES field

5. Advanced PLC knowledge, PLC & MES interface experience

6. Basic IT knowledge (PC, network, windows, database, programming)

7. Strong written and verbal communication skills both in English & Mandarin are required. German is a plus.
